Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb Graphic Arts workshop in Plemenitaš

From 10th to 17th of July 2016 in OLR Plemenitaš, Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb will conduct its Graphic Art workshop for its students. Ten students from undergraduate and graduate study will be hosted by founder of OLR Plemenitaš, mFa Vesna Osojnički. They will be working under mentor ship of professor Mirajan Vodopija and Ines Krasić. 

As part of the workshop Davor Horvatić from Theoretical Physics Division, from faculty of Science Zagreb will teach a class “Under the stars” about physical structure of nature. Additionally Tomaž Hartman from Slovenia Forest Services will be guest lecturer and lecture about diversity of forests and trees. 

Through lectures students will gain new knowledge about wood as material for graphic art matrices. They will learn about wood origin, specific conditions, and diversity of wild life. While they spend their time in nature they will be encouraged to develop new ideas, concepts and awareness of saving natural resources. During the coarse of workshops students will create graphic map an graphic diary of their experiences in Plemenitaš. 

In their free time they will be visiting well know sites through out Gorski kotar like: Kamačnik, Devil’s pass, Green whirlwind and kanuing down the river Kupa.
